I finally the the B16 in, worked some issues out, still no turn signals on the SiR cluster however....but!!!
I am using the stock Si clutch cable, but it seems to short. there is no freeplay in the transmission release rod, and if you push the clutch pedal to the floor, the tranny locks up?!!?!
Everyone said "use the stock clutch cable..." I want to know how the heck you guys are doing it! this one does not work!

Well, What I did was use the stock d-series cable bracket from my old tranny. I modified the Sh*t out of it to make it work for our shorter cable. I think the cable it self is long enough, but the inner cable isn't long enough for the b series bracket that comes with the y1/s1/j1. All I can say is that I cut bent and chopped my d series bracket until it fit, hammer, bench vise, heavy duty grinder, and some improv is what you will need to make it work. MY .02

dude, i used my stock si clutch cable and had no problems at all. maybe it's cuz i didn't use some of the brackets to hold it down as well, but it works great. i'm pretty sure jon is right though..teg cable will be a good fit if you can't get the stock to work.
